Today I met a toad and took some quick portraits. I did some foraging and of course, admired myself and my art. I’ve included some photos of our summer encampment. My tent has a small hole that needs mending, and I would like to waterproof it again before I put it away. I use it as an emergency shelter. I probably should try to make this tent last. I would like to leave the tent up until the first frost, that is the current goal. I’m including some photos of wood. The colors and textures remind me of home. I actually grew up in a log cabin. Little mountain is the next best thing. None of the plants we had are here but we are working on that too. Plans for an herbal garden are in order.
